SCHOOL BUILDING
Sainik School Rewari was inaugurated on 29th Aug 2008 by Shri AK Antony, Hon’ble Raksha Mantri. The proposed permanent location of the school is at village Gothra Tappa Khori, District Rewari (Haryana), situated 15 km south – west of Rewari town on Rewari – Narnaul Road. The school is temporarily functioning from old Govt. Girls College Sector – 4, Rewari.
HOUSES
The school has eight houses namely Subroto, Arjan Singh,Manekshaw, Cariappa, Katari, Pereira, Rezang La and Kargil to accommodate approximately 60-70 cadets each under the supervision of House Masters, House-Tutors and ward-boy.
SPACES TELEPHONE SYSTEM IN HOSTEL
Sainik School Rewar have Spaces telephone system in hostel for students to talk to their respective parents.
MI ROOM
The school has a part time Doctor assisted by an experienced Nursing Assistant , ward boys and a well-equipped Hospital of its own. A periodical checkup is made of the general health, weight and height of the boys. Records of the boy’s growth are maintained and sent to respective parents.
CADETS MESS
Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is provided in the school Cadets’ Mess. Careful attention is paid to provide the boys a well-balanced, varied and appetizing diet and to train them in correct table manners and etiquette.
LIBRARY
The school has a well-equipped library having more than 3906 books in English & Hindi. The library works on the open access system.

WATER RO PLANT IN HOSTEL
The School has its own mineral water (RO) plant in the hostel campus. Entire hostel is connected from the plant. It provides healthy and clean drinking water to staff and students.
SCHOOL INFRASTRUCTURE
The value of sports as a means of developing personality, promoting social harmony and discipline is well recognized.It is also acknowledged that for the development of the youth into good citizens who are knowledgeable, confident,balanced and posses strong character with leadership attributes, they require to be exposed to different kinds of outdoor and indoor games.Participation in sports depend a upon the availability of sports infrastructure and equipment.
